The Tłıc̨hǫ Investment Corporation is receiving $253,000 (80% of project costs) towards a two-year $287,000 project to generate three different strategic plans; one for infrastructure within the Tłıc̨hǫ Region, one for development of the Tłıc̨hǫ people to better support their participation in the economy, and one for better Tłıc̨hǫ participation within the Giant Mine Remediation Project.

Expected Results:

As a result of this project the Tłıc̨hǫ Investment Corporation will receive three strategic plans; allowing them to be better positioned to take advantage of economic development opportunities within the traditional Tłıc̨hǫ lands and also will be able to better able to maximize its investments by taking advantage of economies of scale across multiple future projects. Additionally, this project will position the Tłıc̨hǫ Investment Corporation to better equip Tłıc̨hǫ citizens to be qualified to be staffed for future opportunities.
