Description:
The Recipient, the Tłı̨ chǫ Government, will undertake a three-year project that will support economic development, Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs in the four Tłı̨ chǫ communities. The project includes market research, development of a community tourism pilot, a revised training and economic development strategy, and skills building workshops and internships. This project will support the ongoing efforts of the Tłı chǫ Regional Economic Development Working Group (TREDWG).

Expected Results:
As a result of this project, Tłı̨ chǫ citizens will have increased their entrepreneurial and marketable skills capacity. The proposed project builds on the previously supported Tłı̨ chǫ Region Tourism Development project to expand economic opportunities in the tourism sector. The project will create 28 jobs during the life of the project.
