The Nunavut Community Futures Association (NCFA), an Inuit majority-led not-for-profit, will deliver the Entrepreneurship and Business Development (EBD) program on CanNor's behalf in the Kitikmeot Region, under a three-year External Delivery Organization (XDO) arrangement.

Expected Results:
As a result of this project, NCFA will create one FTE position within KCFI and expand one other position. This three-year project will also provide NCFA with operational funding to operate and deliver the EBD program in Kitikmeot through KCFI. Expected results include: outreach and marketing in order to promote EBD in the Kitikmeot region; an increase in Indigenous-owned business initiatives; increased capacity within NCLA and KCFI and within the five communities located within the Region (e.g. administrative, ability to take advantage of future economic opportunities, and grow the business culture).
