Description:
The Recipient, NWT Métis Dene Development Fund (“NWT MDDF” or the “Recipient”) will continue to provide EBD programing as CanNor's Alternative Service Delivery partner for this program in the NWT. This funding is for the purpose of delivering, on behalf of CanNor, the Entrepreneurship and Business Development (“EBD”) stream of CanNor’s Northern Indigenous Economic Opportunities Program.

Expected Results:
As a result the project will expand the Recipient’s business development services to enable the Recipient to provide non-repayable contribution funding of up to $99,999 for individual Aboriginal entrepreneurs and/or incorporated Aboriginal businesses.Indigenous economic development corporations, including their subsidiaries are to be recommended to CanNor directly for project support. EBD delivery is subject to the revised 2021 EBD guidelines from April 1, 2021, onward.
