The Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation (VGFN) is receiving a non-repayable contribution to advance a two year project to create a strategic food security plan for the community, complete a feasibility assessment and advance early stage activities in support of establishing the parameters of the operation of a community cold/dry food storage facility to provide safe, energy-efficient storage for country foods and perishables.
