The strategy will enable the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation to determine which sectors of their economy should be focused upon with respect to identifying investment opportunities for expansion and diversification purposes. The project is expected to help mitigate the negative impacts on the regional economy stemming from the ongoing decline in the oil and gas energy sector.
