Description:
This project will allow the Amaruq HTA to complete the multi-use building construction project. CanNor funding will be used to support project activities: A Business Market Study; Geophysical Survey/site assessment; Review of Studies and development of project scope; Construction Phase; Recruitment and Training; Securing Supply; Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) commissioning; Store Opening; Business Improvement Review; Training and Equipment fine-tuning.

Expected Results:

This project is expected to create four jobs (two permanent full-time positions and two casual part-time positions) for the processing plant and increased employment to support construction, distribution of country food products, technical support of equipment and general administration.
