As a result of this project, Canada’s territories will enjoy increased, global exposure as a mining-sector friendly location for new exploration and operations. Further, Invest Canada North allows participating northern Indigenous participants the opportunity to meet directly with operators in the mining sector. This will allow them to directly engage in early discussions on planning and sustainable economic development and advancement of their own rights to economic self-determination.
