The Dawson City Music Festival Association (DCMFA) is receiving $263,260 for a three year project to acquire infrastructure purchases for rental and events; upgrade to a point-of-sale system; hire an interim Operations Manager creating 1 new full-time position; expand 2 other roles through short-term staffing; purchase and install new recording studio equipment; make upgrades to event infrastructure and rental stock; create a comprehensive Operations Plan; plan and produce three full-scale festivals, and research and produce a final Economic Impact Analysis.

Expected Results:
As a result of this project, DCMFA will have increased rental and human resource capacity, as well as a return to full-scale summer festivals which will have quantifiable impacts on their revenues, as well as on the local arts, tourism and hospitality sectors, assisting in post-pandemic recovery for their organization.
