The project has three components that will support the development and implementation of applied research projects in animal population health; training of new generations of researchers and professionals; knowledge transfer; and continuing education in the context of "One Health.”

Expected Results:

Component 1 will result in the development of a support structure and the execution of applied animal population health research projects in the "One Health" context.

Component 2 will include workshops for students, researchers and scientific professionals on new methods used in epidemiology, modeling, and qualitative and mixed methods to better apply the “One Health” approach to improve animal population health.

Component 3 will result in the development of communication and popularization strategies for knowledge transfer of “One Health” issues regarding infectious animal diseases to decision-makers and the general public.
