Grants and Contributions:
Component 1 will result in the development of a support structure and the execution of applied animal population health research projects in the "One Health" context.
Component 2 will include workshops for students, researchers and scientific professionals on new methods used in epidemiology, modeling, and qualitative and mixed methods to better apply the “One Health” approach to improve animal population health.
Component 3 will result in the development of communication and popularization strategies for knowledge transfer of “One Health” issues regarding infectious animal diseases to decision-makers and the general public.
The Federal Assistance Program (FAP) is the CFIA's contribution program. It enables the Agency to support projects and initiatives led by external organizations that advance the CFIA's core responsibility for safe food and healthy plants and animals.
