Program Purpose:
This program provides initial settlement services to newly-arrived immigrant and refugee parents and children. The program provides systematic contact with eligible contacts at local schools and serves as an entry point to a broad range of settlement services offered by settlement agencies. This program is delivered in partnership with two Calgary public school systems: the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Separate Schools District.
