Grants and Contributions:
The project is expected to result in:
- greater global awareness of innovative refugee protection models in education;
- availability of the "Building educational pathways for refugees roadmap/guide " into two languages other than English;
- identification of a country to implement capacity building pilot, contributing to increased access to durable solutions for refugees through complementary educational pathways;
- a commitment announced by pilot country to support the development of an education pathway;
- a capacity building workshop in pilot country with relevant local stakeholders.
WUSC improves education, employment, and empowerment opportunities for youth. They work with a diverse network of students, volunteers, institutions, governments, and businesses. Together, they foster youth-centered solutions to overcome inequality and exclusion.
To provide funding to organizations that are active in the areas of international migration policy development and research and whose independent work as a third party offers a valuable contribution for consideration in Canadian international migration and citizenship policy development and implementation.
