Grants and Contributions:

Appropriate information and services to address settlement needs; Awareness of community and other resources to deal with settlement issues; Connections to communities and public institutions; Employers are aware of opportunities (mechanisms and tools) to hire qualified French-speaking immigrants; French-speaking clients receive settlement services that address their settlement needs; Knowledge of life in Canada, including laws, rights, and responsibilities; Knowledge, skills, and connections related to the Canadian work environment; Partners and stakeholders are engaged in promotion, recruitment and settlement and implement strategies to address newcomers needs in Francophone Minority Communities; Partners and stakeholders are engaged in settlement and implement strategies to address newcomers needs; Provision of settlement services is consistent, innovative and coordinated; Settlement and non-settlement services are responsive to the needs of newcomers and communities

For Canada to realize the economic, social and cultural benefits of immigration, newcomers must integrate successfully into Canadian society. To provide newcomers with the information required to make informed decision, language skills adequate to their settlement and integration goals, and the support they need to build networks within their new communities.
