Grants and Contributions:
Access to IRCC-funded settlement services is facilitiated; Clients acquire knowledge, skills, and connections to prepare for the Canadian labour market; Clients increase knowledge of life in Canada; Consistent and responsive settlement program delivery; Employers are aware of opportunities (mechanisms and tools) to hire qualified French-speaking immigrants; French-speaking clients receive settlement services that address their settlement needs; Increase understanding of client settlement needs and appropriate linkages to other services; Increased awareness and understanding among policy makers and stakeholders on topics of importance to the vitality of Official Language Minority Communities (OLMCs); Partners and stakeholders are engaged in promotion, recruitment and settlement and implement strategies to address newcomers needs in FMCs; Partners deliver responsive and coordinated settlement and community services; Prospective French speaking immigrants are aware of opportunities (mechanisms and tools) to immigrate to FMCs
For Canada to realize the economic, social and cultural benefits of immigration, newcomers must integrate successfully into Canadian society. To provide newcomers with the information required to make informed decision, language skills adequate to their settlement and integration goals, and the support they need to build networks within their new communities.
