Grants and Contributions:

Access to IRCC-funded services is facilitated; Clients improve connections to communities and social networks; Clients improve labour market knowledge, employment-related language skills, job search skills, connections, and acquire Canadian work experience; Clients increase knowledge of life in Canada; High needs clients have their essential needs met and gain skills to facilitate their own settlement journey; In-depth understanding of clients’ general and language needs and assets to facilitate settlement and language training pathways and outcome assessment; Non-settlement partners improve capacity to provide support to diverse groups of newcomers across all sectors, in large, medium and small communities, including francophone minority communities; Settlement sector improves capacity to provide coordinated and effective settlement support to newcomers, including equity deserving groups

For Canada to realize the economic, social and cultural benefits of immigration, newcomers must integrate successfully into Canadian society. To provide newcomers with the information required to make informed decision, language skills adequate to their settlement and integration goals, and the support they need to build networks within their new communities.
