To provide Canada's funding contribution for one year to the organization to support the activities of the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD).

In direct support of the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) implementation, funding will be used by the GFMD Working Group on Migration Narratives, which brings together government, local authorities, civil society and business. It provides an opportunity to demonstrate Canadian leadership by fostering global momentum to curb negative attitudes about migrants and promote balanced narratives on migration.
