Program Purpose:
Aims to create a Canadian Index for Measuring Integration (CIMI). This is a new initiative which builds on a review carried out last spring by ACS. With funding from CIC, the ACS carried out a review of existing Canadian and foreign measures of immigrant integration, with a view towards the possible construction of a measuring framework that would reflect the Canadian conditions and context.
