Program Purpose:

This project provides immediate resettlement services for Government Assisted Refugees destined for Prince Edward Island. Upon notification from CIC, the RAP Worker will: Make appropriate preparations for the arrival of incoming GARs, greet them at the airport; arrange for temporary accommodations, arrange for transportation to the temporary accommodations, arrange for an Interpreter (if required), provide meal allowances, and provides a basic orientation to Canada, and PEI specifically.
