Program Purpose:

Reception House for temporary housing of RAP (refugee clients) to help orientate them to life in Canada. They have private living quarters for sleeping, community cafeteria where all meals are prepared for them, communal television, computer rooms, relaxation rooms, laundry facilities. Settlement workers staff is one premises five days a week and on call 24/7. Seminars are provided for the GARS on finances, housing, health, schools, employment etc.
