Program Purpose:
To provide necessary support for Iraqi refugees in Syria who have applied for resettlement to Canada. Canada closed its mission in Damascus in March 2012 due to the escalating conflict in Syria. This project will fund recipient to perform file perfection of the resettlement applications, as well as perform interviews of Iraqi applicants in Syria who have applied for resettlement to Canada.
