Program Purpose:
The purpose of the Newcomer Information Centres is to serve eligible newcomer clients by providing information that is timely, accurate, and comprehensive. The NICs refer newcomers to the appropriate services that meet individual needs, including settlement service providing agencies including language training, and empower newcomers to access information in a self-directed manner. The site and materials are accessible to disabled newcomers as well.
