Information and Orientation, Language/Skills Development, and Welcoming Communities. Through programming, MCC will ensure that 'newcomers' receive appropriate information and services to address settlement needs. Clients will gain awareness of community and other resources available to address these needs as well as knowledge of life in Canada, laws, rights and responsibilities. Newcomers will also gain Official Language skills and connections to community and public institutions.
