Program Purpose:
The Youth Volunteer Program (YVP) assists eligible immigrant/refugee youth with connecting to the broader community, as well as with developing networks and transferable skills through civic participation and volunteerism. The program includes needs assessments, referrals, information and orientations. The program also includes community connections such as fostering leadership skills through a Youth Advisory Council and Youth Ambassador Teams.
