The objectives of this grant is to contribute to the Gairdner Foundation’s National program’s events to ensure the continuous recognition and celebration of excellence in health sciences research. Through lectures delivered by the Foundation’s awardees (leading researchers around the world), the National program plays a critical role in inspiring Canada’s young people to consider a career in health sciences research and increasing public awareness of the value of health research and its discovery.
