Description:
The specific objective is to provide clinical trial infrastructure support for two existing national networks within the ICRH mandate that are addressing critical care and venous thromboembolism research related to COVID-19. The goal is to continue to facilitate and advance the health research (Pillars I, II, and III) related to COVID-19 within critical care and venous thromboembolism in Canada. It is expected that, through this investment, highly qualified staff will be retained to maintain the important clinical trial, cohort and translational mechanistic infrastructure required to support national research efforts to address the COVID-19 crisis.
