The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Cancer Research will co-fund up to two grants with Genome Canada in the areas of cancer prevention and early detection, with any of the following objectives:
• Acquiring greater insights into the interaction of the host genome with risk of cancer development
• Advancing understanding of the influence of the exposome on cancer risks
• Advancing tools for early detection of cancer
