Description:
The objectives of this funding opportunity are: 1. Generate robust, timely, and relevant evidence on the drivers of clade 1b mpox emergence and spread in Africa and globally, and on public health interventions and risk management strategies to prevent, control, and mitigate the spread of clade 1b mpox. 2. Mobilize evidence to support policymakers, clinicians, public health actors, and high-risk communities in Africa and Canada to better prevent, prepare for, and respond to mpox outbreaks (including but not limited to clade 1b mpox)
