Description:
As the population continues to age and Canada is on track to become a “super aged” country there will be an increase in the number and proportion of the Oldest Old (those aged 85 years and older) and Centenarians (those aged 100 years and older). The CIHR Institute of Aging (CIHR-IA) recognizes the need for research focused in these areas. Based on these priorities, CIHR-IA will support one multi-year project grant on the Oldest Old and/or Centenarian populations in any research area relevant to IA's strategic directions.
