Description:
Objectives
The overarching objective of this funding opportunity is to support key databank activities to enable
secondary analyses on COVID-19 immunity data housed in the databank created by the COVID-19
Immunity Task Force (CITF). This will allow for the uncovering of novel findings through
interdisciplinary and intersectoral analysis on Canada’s COVID experience and will provide valuable
insights towards future pandemics and emergency management. This objective will be achieved through
all the following specific activities:
1. Curation, organization, harmonization, and visualization of incoming data;
2. Development and maintenance of data dashboards;
3. Encourage and promote use of data and the mobilization of knowledge;
4. Management of data requests and provision of data to researchers and/or policy makers;
5. Enable secondary analyses through the maintenance of data access infrastructure (Data Access
Office and Data Access Committee) and ensure open access; and
6. Undertake requests for assistance with analysis (statistical consulting), custom tabulation for
modellers or other methodologic work, as appropriate.
