Program Purpose:
The Modular Accident Analysis Program (MAAP) models accident sequence analysis through core heat-up, core melt and relocation, primary system thermal hydraulics, containment response and fission product transport. The purpose of the MAAP User Group is to provide users with the latest version of MAAP and to allow for a forum to continually update the software by incorporating operating experience and lessons learned. Additionally, the MAAP User Group will provide user support and maintenance for the MAAP4 and MAAP5 as well as user education and training.
