Grants and Contributions:

The grant will be used to support the 2026 EPR Bio Dose Conference to be held in Ottawa with an aim to bring together experts, researchers, and regulators to share new findings, discuss methodological innovations in biological dosimetry, and strengthen international collaboration and harmonization.

The purpose of the Research and Support Program Stream is to: acquire independent expertise, advice and information needed to support timely regulatory judgment and decisions; assist in the identification and assessment of operational problems which may give rise to health, safety, security or environmental hazards; assist in the development of capability and tools to be able to address health, safety, security or environmental issues; facilitate the assessment for the technical or scientific basis of licensing decisions and encourage licensees to address these issues; and aid in the development of nuclear safety standards.
