Description:
The objectives of the project are: 1) Test a prototype SHOW instrument for deployment on a high altitude balloon platform; 2) Perform atmospheric limb observations with SHOW instrument from a stratospheric balloon platform; 3) Demonstrate the instrument capability for stratospheric water vapour profile retrieval employing the l'University of Saskatchewan retrieval code and radiative transfer model (SASKTRAN) updated for H2O limb scatter retrievals; 4) Increase the instrument Technology Readiness Level (TRL).
