The project proposes to conduct a series of observing system simulation experiments to examine the potential utility of future limb measurements from the Canadian Atmospheric Tomography System (CATS) and the Stratosphere-Troposphere Exchange and Climate Monitoring Radiometer (STEAMR) for constraining estimates of stratospheric NO2 when assimilated into a chemical transport model.
