Description:
This project entitled "" Satellite Ocean Colour Radiometry: International Coordination "" has the objectives to support the operations of the International Ocean Colour Coordination Committee (OCCG) Project Office, Including training initiatives, international science meetings and publishing scientific reports, and to promote and enhance the demand for EO data products in Canada. This project will promote the flow of information from the international ocean colour community to Canadian scientists, facilitating collaboration and providing training opportunities, thus helping to develop ocean-colour expertise and capacity within Canada. The activities of the IOCCG, through liaison with CEOS, Will also help to ensure that Canadian Stakeholders receive an uninterrupted stream of high quality, well-calibrated, satellite ocean color data for monitoring Canada's coastal oceans and freshwater lakes.

Program Purpose:

This program supports knowledge development and innovation in the CSA's priority areas while increasing the awareness and participation of Canadians in space-related disciplines and activities.
