Description:
This project entitled ""A novel nano-filtration technology for aerospace applications"" is to design, build and test high-performance and durable nano-filters to be used in the aerospace industry. These nano-filters would serve in the filtration of fluid system protection in engine lube, engine fuel, coolant, radar cooling systems and odor/bacteria/virus removal from water and air. The proposed nano-filters are mass-producible, bio-compatible and can be assembled into any shape and size. The filters are suitable for harsh environments where high or low temperatures, high pressures or vacuum, high levels of radiation and wide range of pH define the quality of the surroundings. The proposed nano-filtration technology is a major improvement from existing filters. They are thinner, lighter, have an increased permeability and can be customized according to its applications.
