Description:
The project « Chase the Moon… Make It Habitable » will develop a range of virtual space-themed STEM programs that will introduce students across Canada to the many facets of the Moon. Students can choose from a variety of courses to explore what they are passionate about, meet many Canadian professionals in space and STEM fields. This allows students to learn from Canadian space professionals and learn in virtual yet engaging ways. Our lunar challenges include building a weather station on the Moon, building and moving rovers across the lunar surface, and use AI models to classify lunar rocks.

The Awareness and Learning Component aims to provide learning opportunities to Canadian students in various space-related disciplines; to support the operations of organizations dedicated to space research and education; and to increase awareness of Canadian space science and technology among Canadian students and their participation in related activities.
