Description:
The project « Chase the Moon… Make It
Habitable » will develop a range of virtual
space-themed STEM programs that will
introduce students across Canada to the many
facets of the Moon. Students can choose from
a variety of courses to explore what they
are passionate about, meet many Canadian
professionals in space and STEM fields. This
allows students to learn from Canadian space
professionals and learn in virtual yet
engaging ways. Our lunar challenges include
building a weather station on the Moon,
building and moving rovers across the lunar
surface, and use AI models to classify lunar
rocks.

The Space Awareness element of the program provides financial support to initiatives designed to increase awareness of and participation of Canadian youth and educators in the Canadian Space program.
