Description:
The program will provide effective supports for Indigenous Offenders serving federal sentences. These supports include annual staff training for CSC employees, monthly FASD sharing circles, transitional mentorship that supports reintegration, and case management and goal planning

Expected Results:
Indigenous offenders with FASD have a lack of supports within CSC, provision of these supports will contribute to offenders successfully returning to their home communities. Last year, this partner completed 38 FASD assessments, facilitated 34 sharing sessions with a total of 265 offender participants. Due to these excellent results, NWCFASD is consisted eligible for another year of support under the program.
