Description:
The reintegration workers will work alongside the offender’s parole officer to create a community-based plan, which would include participation in the weekly drumming circle or powwow practices, one on one mentorship, support and guidance.

Expected Results:

For male identifying offenders; Drum circles will share teachings, men’s roles and responsibilities and focus on anger management prior to community reintegration. For female identifying offenders and those who identify as Two Spirit, will be reconnected to their culture through dance and powwow and understanding the role of a strong women in our communities and their strength spirit.
