Description:
The IAEA will strengthen nuclear security in up to 18 countries in Latin America, Africa and the Pacific by updating national inventories, develop regulations for the safe and secure storage of radioactive sources, develop a strategy for the management of disused sealed radioactive sources (DSRS), and remove 35 DSRS in Chile and the Dominican Republic.
