Grants and Contributions:
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) integrated gender related technical guidance and support to translate policies and commitments into tangible action are available to humanitarian actors; (2) increased capacity of sectors, humanitarian agencies and local partners to better identify, address and monitor the needs of women, girls, boys and men in all their diversity for greater accountability on gender equality and women and girls’ empowerment results; and (3)
gender analysis, assessments and good practice documents to inform gender-responsive planning, programming and implementation are readily available to humanitarian actors and national and local stakeholders.
The expected ultimate outcome is the humanitarian response planning, programming and implementation are gender and diversity inclusive and responsive, and sustainable.
The main purpose on the International Development Assistance Program is to reduce poverty for those living in countries where Global Affairs Canada engages in international development.
