Description:
The AAI transition workshop seeks to understand the financing and aid modalities aspect of the response to Syrian refugees’ educational needs in Jordan. The workshop will be a platform where AAI donors in Jordan can discuss and explore potential funding modalities that will enable the MoE, donors and education stakeholders to continue to respond to Syrian refugees’ educational needs beyond the 2019/20 school year and in line with the Education Strategic Plan.

Expected Results:

The report will outline key findings and discussions of the AAI transition workshop, reflections from stakeholders, as well as recommendations on realistic aid modalities for future support/transition from the AAI into the broader ESP after the 2019/20 school year. The report will serve as a basis for ongoing policy dialogue between donors, implementing agencies and the Ministry of Education.
