Grants and Contributions:
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) increased availability of quality health services for Syrian refugees and other vulnerable populations affected by the crisis, particularly women and girls; (2) increased awareness of communities on key health topics, diseases, prevention, and family planning; and (3) quality, comprehensive and age appropriate case management and psychosocial services are available to women and girls, men and boys, and in particular survivors of gender-based violence.
The expected ultimate outcome is lives saved, suffering alleviated and human dignity maintained in countries experiencing humanitarian crises or acute food insecurity.
The value of the agreement is changed to 7,500,000 $ CAD and the end date is postponed to March 31, 2022.
The main purpose on the International Development Assistance Program is to reduce poverty for those living in countries where Global Affairs Canada engages in international development.
