This project supports the substantive preparations for the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), held in Doha, Qatar in January 2022. The conference expects to adopt a ten-year programme of action for the LDCs to succeed the Istanbul Programme of Action, which concludes in 2020. The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and the Small Island Developing States is the focal point for preparations.
