This hybrid Wilton Park conference is to be held in partnership with the governments of Canada and the UK, and seeks to build on the momentum achieved in the November 2021 virtual conference on Engaging Public Representatives in Biosecurity and Pandemic Preparedness delivered by Wilton Park in partnership with the Government of South Africa and co-funded by Canada’s Weapons Threat Reduction Program and the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) to advance the Global Partnership Signature Initiative to Mitigate Biological Threats in Africa.
