This project ill implement a series of activities address gaps in the human elements of sustainable biosafety and biosecurity across Africa and supports the Global Partnership’s Signature Initiative to Mitigate Biological Threats in Africa. The activities include 1) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Biosafety & Biosecurity across Africa; 2) Cultivating the Biosafety & Biosecurity Profession in Africa ; 3) development a Risk Assessment & Risk-Based Decision-Making Tool for laboratory biosafety; and 4) Strengthening Multi-Sectoral Collaboration in and for Africa.
