Grants and Contributions:
Through DI’s work, the partner aims to ensure that stakeholders make decisions informed by the findings and recommendations of the data analysis and evidence produced, thereby leading to the improved efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian assistance.
This goal will be supported through the following expected results: (1) Enhanced knowledge and understanding of the key trends and developments in humanitarian and wider crisis financing and response; (2) Enhanced awareness of good practice, opportunities and options, and of challenges and barriers, for more effective and efficient resourcing of humanitarian and crisis response; and (3) Improved knowledge and understanding of the importance, availability and use of open data on humanitarian and wider crisis response, and access to practical solutions to enable greater availability and use of open data.
The main purpose on the International Development Assistance Program is to reduce poverty for those living in countries where Global Affairs Canada engages in international development.
