Grants and Contributions:
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) collection, analysis, management and production of data and information on internal displacement across complex contexts worldwide which informs humanitarian response plans, as well as other strategic response plans; (2) ability for humanitarian partners to more effectively meet the needs of populations affected by humanitarian crises; and (3) capacity for donors to better prioritize their resources to reach those most in need.
The expected ultimate outcome is lives saved, suffering alleviated and human dignity maintained in countries experiencing humanitarian crises or acute food insecurity.
The main purpose on the International Development Assistance Program is to reduce poverty for those living in countries where Global Affairs Canada engages in international development.
