This project supports the Ministerial commitment to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and emphasizes the priority of empowering women and girls. It supports an evidence-based, safe-spaces approach to empowering girls and young women. It does so by providing access to SRHR services and increasing knowledge and participation by girls and young women in activities that protect their SRHR.

Expected Results:

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) increased leadership and informed decision-making by adolescent girls and young women on their SRHR; (2) increased availability of quality, integrated, gender-sensitive sexual and reproductive health services for adolescent girls and young women; and (3) improved socio-cultural attitudes, behaviours, and practices in targeted districts that protect and promote the SRHR of adolescent girls and young women.
