Description:
The Women Veterans Reintegration in Ukraine project will work to improve the employability of women veterans ultimately contributing to their successful socio-economic inclusion and reintegration as they transition to civilian life, in targeted regions of Ukraine. The project will work with two key government-funded Ukrainian agencies that are responsible for policy development and service delivery, including employment programming, for military veterans: the Ministry of Veterans Affairs (MVA) and the State Economic Service (SES). By strengthening the capacity of the MVA and SES to design and deliver programs and services specifically tailored towards the unique needs, challenges, and experiences of military veterans, including women veterans as they rehabilitate, reintegrate, and transition into civilian life, the project will enhance their socio-economic inclusion.
