Description:
Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs) provide a framework for financing national sustainable development priorities and the SDGs at the country level. A country’s sustainable development strategy lays out what needs to be financed. INFFs spell out how the national strategy will be financed and implemented, relying on the full range of public and private financing sources. INFFs are a planning and delivery tool to help countries strengthen planning processes and overcome obstacles to financing sustainable development and the SDGs at the national level. INFFs embody three principles that are central to accelerating progress toward the SDGs: (i) country-ownership and country-leadership; (ii) mission-orientation, catalysing financing reforms for sustainable development outcomes; and (iii) a holistic and integrated approach, advancing coherent change across public and private finance.

Ultimate Outcome:
Strengthened national financing systems to accelerate inclusive and sustainable development, especially for women and girls.

1. Governments adopt and implement integrated, gender-responsive financing strategies supported by digital tools and capacity development.
2. Governments and partners apply lessons from peer learning to scale integrated financing policies, including those addressing gender inequality.

Immediate Outcomes:
1. Strengthened institutional capacity and governance for gender-responsive financing.
2. Enhanced digital systems and data platforms for domestic resource mobilization.
3. Increased access to and use of knowledge products and peer learning.
